Our partnership with Strike adds a payment method provider for card and bank payments across 98+ countries. Strike joins Cash App in MakePay checkout, giving customers more ways to pay while merchants receive crypto directly in their configured wallets.
The public status site brings service reachability, network observations, and provider restrictions into one place. Checkout can also show relevant route advisories.
A public Cash App onramp adds another entry point for customers to reach a supported crypto destination. Strike and provider selection follow in September.
Our published ZC Miner story documents crypto payments for mining hardware orders: a branded payment page, order context, and settlement to the merchant wallet.
Cash App joins as a payment method provider for US card and bank payments. The partnership connects an everyday payment app to MakePay checkout, with crypto settlement to the merchant’s wallet.
MakePay integrates Flashnet, adding another provider connection to its payment infrastructure. This expands the integration stack behind the checkout and its supported payment routes.
MakePay.io launches its first public release, bringing the focus from swapping to merchant payments. Chainflip and NEAR integrations connect the new checkout experience to decentralized swap infrastructure.
MakeSwap.io launches as a decentralized swap interface, with API integration options for developers. Customers can use the interface directly, while teams can connect swap functionality to their own products.
Public API interfaces make decentralized swapping available for integration into other applications. This marks the move from private activity to public developer tools, laying the groundwork for MakeSwap and MakePay.

The journey begins with private over-the-counter crypto transactions and crypto investments. This early chapter precedes the public APIs, swap interface, and merchant payment products that follow.
Borrow to pay is planned for 2027, with timing to be confirmed. Alongside it, we continue developing spending and lending experiences beyond today’s checkout.

Borrow to pay
A planned payment option using collateral-backed loans, with the goal of making it available across all MakePay merchants. Customers would borrow against supported crypto assets to fund a purchase. Implementation details and launch timing are still to be confirmed.
A planned interface for supplying supported assets through decentralized smart contracts. Market availability, rates, and risks follow the underlying protocol.
