Hosted crypto checkout
Crypto payment links and hosted checkout
In MakePay, a crypto payment link is the hosted checkout. Create the request in MakeCrypto or through the API, share one branded URL, and let customers pay in supported coins or stablecoins while your team follows the same page from checkout start to confirmed settlement.
One URL
Payment link and hosted checkout are the same customer page.
Self-custody
Accept payments straight into your merchant-controlled wallet.
Status view
Give customers and support one shared payment reference.

Why MakePay
MakePay payment advantages
Every payment page can carry your brand, settlement preferences, and support context.
All-in-one
One MakePay service path, the same direct settlement model.
The service page should make the launch path obvious. These are the customer moments, team controls, and payment outcomes this MakePay flow is designed to cover.
Collect high-value payments from international customers who already prefer stablecoins or major coins.
Create payment links from your backend and reconcile status through webhooks.
Use your logo, colors, payment-link domain, and confirmation emails from your own domain.
Invite your team to create links, review payment status, manage branding, and support customers.
Customers and support teams can see what happened after checkout opened.

Built around direct wallet payments, not custody.

Service answers
The useful questions before launch.
Every checkout path has small operational details. These answers keep the service page practical for merchants, developers, and support teams.
01Can customers cover the MakePay payment fee?
Yes. Customer-paid mode is the default, keeping the merchant MakePay fee at 0%. Merchants can also choose to absorb the 0.35% fee.
02Do I need to build a checkout to accept crypto payments?
No. You can start with hosted MakePay payment links and add an embedded checkout or API workflow later.
03Can I use MakePay with WordPress or WooCommerce?
Yes. Install the official MakePay WooCommerce plugin, connect it to your MakeCrypto settings, and start offering crypto checkout without custom coding.
04Can Shopify stores accept MakePay payments?
Yes. Shopify stores can use the MakePay commerce connector to create payment links for orders, sync payment status, and keep checkout running without a custom integration.
05Where does the money settle?
Customers send funds to the smart contract address generated from your MakeCrypto settings. If conversion is needed, MakePay routes the payment through a DEX protocol exchange and settles directly to your configured destination address. MakePay never physically touches, holds, or manages merchant funds.
