How do I join?
Sign in at makecrypto.io/affiliate and create an affiliate profile with your name and contact email. New profiles activate immediately and receive a general referral link. Payout methods and payouts are reviewed separately.
What is the standard commission?
The standard rate is 15% of eligible, verified MakePay service fees from referred merchants. It is a share of the service fee, not the total customer payment. Your portal shows the rate assigned to your profile.
Does my commission reduce the merchant’s settlement?
Affiliate commission comes from MakePay service-fee revenue. It does not add an affiliate charge to the customer’s payment or reduce the merchant’s settlement beyond the normal MakePay fee.
How long does a referral last?
The first valid referral has a 90-day window for a new merchant to onboard, subject to eligibility checks. Once that merchant is linked to your profile, the referral does not expire after 90 days. Future commission still depends on eligible activity and program rules.
Can I refer myself or an existing merchant?
No. Self-referrals and existing merchant accounts do not qualify. Internal, test, and fraud-flagged referrals are excluded as well.
Which payments generate commission?
Payments must be completed and verified, with a positive eligible MakePay service fee. Demo and test payments, failed or cancelled payments, zero-fee activity, and unresolved incomplete payments do not generate commission.
When can I receive a payout?
Commissions have a 30-day hold. Available earnings must meet the minimum payout threshold shown in the portal and pass review before payment is confirmed. Payouts are handled in reviewed batches; an available balance is not an automatic transfer.
Can I create more than one referral link?
Yes. Your general referral link stays active, and you can create named campaign links with different destinations. Campaign links can be paused. Reports help you compare traffic, merchants, and commission by campaign.
Are banners personalized with my link?
Yes. In Animated Banners, select a referral link and preview size, then download a personalized pack or copy an embed snippet. Packs include HTML5 creative and PNG/SVG fallbacks in multiple formats and sizes.
What should I tell potential merchants?
Explain the payment workflow and the merchant’s own wallet settlement. Be clear that you may earn a referral commission. Avoid guaranteed-income claims, promises of universal payment availability, or legal and tax assurances.
