Where do affiliates apply?+
Affiliate applications and the partner dashboard live in MakeCrypto at https://www.makecrypto.io/affiliate. The MakePay pages explain the program and send partners there.
How much do affiliates earn?+
Approved affiliates earn 15% of MakePay service fees collected from eligible verified MakePay payment sessions.
What is the commission source of truth?+
MakePay internal payment session reconciliation is the source of truth. Client-provided URL parameters or payment metadata do not create commission by themselves.
How does attribution work?+
The program uses first valid affiliate referral attribution, with a 90-day window for new merchant onboarding, subject to fraud and self-referral checks.
When can commission be paid?+
Commission becomes available after the hold/review period. Payouts are reviewed in batches and require the minimum payout threshold.
Which payments are excluded?+
Demo, failed, expired, cancelled, zero-fee, unresolved underpaid, self-referral, internal, test, or fraud-flagged sessions are not eligible.
Does commission reduce merchant settlement?+
No. Affiliate commission is paid from MakePay revenue, not deducted from merchant settlement or customer payable amount beyond the normal MakePay fee.
Are payouts automatic?+
Payout v1 is admin-reviewed and manually confirmed. Fully automatic payout execution can be added later.
