US Sales Representative

Open the US merchant pipeline for MakePay.

This role builds and advances MakePay's US sales pipeline through prospecting, discovery, demos, and close support. You will identify merchants that can benefit from crypto payments and help them understand the business case for launching with MakePay.

Why this role matters

  • Create qualified US pipeline across merchants, platforms, agencies, and crypto-native businesses.
  • Improve MakePay's understanding of US buyer objections, payment use cases, competitive pressure, and closing needs.
  • Help convert early US opportunities into repeatable sales motions and sharper go-to-market materials.

What you will own

  • Prospect target accounts, qualify opportunities, run discovery calls, schedule demos, and manage follow-up.
  • Explain MakePay's value for crypto checkout, payment links, settlement, integrations, and merchant growth.
  • Maintain clean CRM notes, next steps, pipeline hygiene, and feedback for marketing, product, and leadership.

What you bring

  • B2B sales, SDR, account executive, or business development experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce, or crypto.
  • Strong discovery skills with the ability to connect merchant pain points to practical product outcomes.
  • Comfort owning outbound activity, follow-up discipline, CRM accuracy, and commission-based performance goals.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to ecommerce merchants, payment teams, finance leaders, crypto companies, or online platforms.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, stablecoins, checkout conversion, merchant acquiring, or Web3 commerce.
  • Existing network across US fintech, ecommerce, crypto, marketplaces, or digital agencies.

First 90 days

  • Build a target account list and outreach rhythm for the first US merchant segments.
  • Run discovery and demo cycles that produce clear learning about buyer needs and objections.
  • Create a repeatable handoff from qualified opportunity to technical support, success, and leadership.
