UI/UX Designer
Design localized product flows for Asia merchants.
This role supports UI and UX design for Hong Kong and Asia merchant journeys, including checkout clarity, onboarding, support tooling, and regional product flows. You will help MakePay feel local without becoming inconsistent.

- Adapt dashboard and checkout patterns for regional expectations and language constraints.
- Strengthen MakePay's product quality in Hong Kong and Singapore-facing workflows.
What you will own
- Design UI and UX for localized checkout, dashboard, onboarding, and support workflows.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity screens, interaction states, and responsive specs.
- Collaborate with engineering to review implementation quality and edge cases.
What you bring
- Strong UI/UX experience with SaaS, fintech, commerce, or operational products.
- Ability to design clear interfaces for dense information, forms, and payment statuses.
- Comfort working with regional feedback and cross-functional product constraints.
Nice to have
- Experience with localization, multilingual product design, crypto, or payments.
- Figma component and design-system experience.
- Ability to create concise microcopy for support-sensitive workflows.
First 90 days
- Improve one Asia-facing checkout or onboarding flow with responsive production specs.
- Identify regional UI issues that create support confusion.
- Create reusable design notes for localized payment states and merchant actions.
