Social Media Manager
Make MakePay's social presence feel credible, useful, and alive.
This role manages MakePay's social channels, content calendar, founder and product storytelling, and campaign coordination. You will help merchants, partners, and crypto communities understand what MakePay does through steady, polished communication.
Why this role matters
- Build a consistent social presence that supports merchant trust, product launches, and brand awareness.
- Turn product updates, customer themes, events, and founder perspectives into useful social content.
- Improve coordination between social activity, campaigns, community moments, and sales enablement.
What you will own
- Own the social calendar, post production, channel scheduling, engagement monitoring, and performance reporting.
- Create and adapt content for LinkedIn, X, community channels, launch moments, events, and regional campaigns.
- Work with design, product, marketing, community, and leadership to keep social content accurate and timely.
What you bring
- Social media management experience for a B2B, fintech, SaaS, crypto, ecommerce, or technology brand.
- Strong writing judgment with the ability to make technical payment topics approachable without oversimplifying.
- Comfort managing calendars, approvals, analytics, community feedback, and multiple content formats.
Nice to have
- Experience with crypto, Web3, fintech, payment gateways, merchant tools, or founder-led content.
- Ability to brief visual assets, short-form video, event recaps, and product explainers.
- Familiarity with social listening, scheduling, analytics, and community management tools.
First 90 days
- Audit current channels and define the first social content pillars for merchants, product, trust, and community.
- Build a repeatable publishing calendar that supports campaigns and product milestones.
- Create reporting that shows which content themes drive reach, engagement, and useful conversations.
