Singapore / Asia Sales Manager
Grow MakePay's Asia merchant and partner pipeline.
This role leads sales activity across Singapore and broader Asia, with a focus on merchants, payment partners, platforms, and enterprise opportunities. You will combine regional relationship-building with disciplined pipeline management and clear market feedback.

- Create qualified Asia pipeline across merchants, partners, ecommerce platforms, fintechs, and crypto businesses.
- Improve MakePay's understanding of Singapore and regional buyer expectations, integration needs, and market entry paths.
- Build a sales rhythm that can scale across languages, time zones, and partner-led opportunities.
What you will own
- Source, qualify, demo, negotiate, and progress Asia merchant and partner opportunities.
- Develop partner channels, referral relationships, and market-specific sales approaches for priority segments.
- Coordinate with customer success, support, compliance, product, and leadership on regional launch readiness.
What you bring
- Sales management, account executive, or business development experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce, or crypto.
- Strong regional business communication skills with comfort selling across Singapore and nearby Asia markets.
- Ability to manage pipeline, forecasts, buyer maps, and internal handoffs with clear ownership.
Nice to have
- Experience with payment gateways, wallets, stablecoins, settlement, merchant acquiring, or Web3 commerce.
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or another Asia business language in addition to English.
- Network across Singapore fintech, crypto, ecommerce, marketplaces, agencies, or payment partnerships.
First 90 days
- Map priority Asia segments, target accounts, partner channels, and existing warm opportunities.
- Run the first repeatable sales cadence for outreach, demos, partner conversations, and opportunity reviews.
- Share a regional sales brief covering buyer objections, product gaps, and launch support needs.
