Senior UI/UX Designer
Raise the craft level of MakePay product interfaces.
This role focuses on UI and UX quality across MakePay's product surfaces: onboarding, dashboard screens, payment-link creation, checkout pages, and support workflows. You will make the product easier to understand and more trustworthy to use.
Why this role matters
- Improve visual consistency across MakePay's product and marketing-adjacent surfaces.
- Reduce friction in workflows that merchants repeat every day.
- Turn payment, wallet, and settlement states into clear interface components.
What you will own
- Design high-fidelity product UI for dashboards, forms, checkout flows, empty states, and status views.
- Create UX improvements for onboarding, payment setup, wallet configuration, and merchant actions.
- Work with engineers on responsive behavior, interaction states, and implementation details.
What you bring
- Strong UI/UX portfolio with production SaaS, fintech, commerce, or dashboard work.
- Ability to design clean interfaces for dense operational information.
- Comfort working directly with engineers and refining details after implementation starts.
Nice to have
- Experience with design systems, Figma component libraries, or design tokens.
- Crypto wallet or payment checkout design experience.
- Ability to write concise product copy for complex actions and error states.
First 90 days
- Improve a dashboard or checkout workflow with production-ready specs.
- Audit key MakePay screens for inconsistency, missing states, and mobile issues.
- Create reusable UI guidelines for high-density product panels and payment states.
