Senior Blockchain/Web3 Engineer
Own the wallet and chain logic behind MakePay payments.
This role focuses on the Web3 layer that routes wallet payments, stablecoin flows, chain support, and payment status reliability. You will connect blockchain realities to merchant-grade product behavior.

- Increase payment success and confidence across supported chains, wallets, and stablecoin routes.
- Make chain-specific edge cases easier for merchants and support teams to understand.
- Strengthen the technical foundation for new Web3 payment products.
What you will own
- Build and review wallet, chain, routing, quote, and payment status logic across MakePay flows.
- Evaluate provider integrations, edge cases, fee behavior, and confirmation reliability.
- Write tests and operational notes for blockchain-specific failure modes.
What you bring
- Strong software engineering experience with blockchain, wallet, smart contract, or crypto payment systems.
- Ability to reason about transactions, confirmations, token standards, network behavior, and provider APIs.
- Production mindset around safety, observability, user education, and incident response.
Nice to have
- Experience with stablecoin routing, swaps, payment gateways, or self-custody merchant settlement.
- Familiarity with EVM chains, TRON, Solana, Bitcoin, or multi-chain asset models.
- Security review experience for wallet and signing flows.
First 90 days
- Own a chain or wallet reliability improvement from investigation to production rollout.
- Create clearer documentation for chain-specific payment states and support escalation paths.
- Help prioritize new chain or stablecoin support based on merchant value and operational risk.
