Senior Backend Engineer
Build regional payment reliability for Asia merchants.
This role focuses on backend systems that support Hong Kong and Asia merchants: payment services, data flows, integrations, reconciliation, and operational visibility. You will make regional merchant workflows more dependable.

What you will own
- Build backend services for payment flows, merchant data, integration points, and reconciliation.
- Improve diagnostics around payment status, webhook delivery, and account operations.
- Work with full-stack and frontend engineers on API contracts for regional product features.
What you bring
- Strong backend engineering experience with TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, tests, and databases.
- Practical understanding of reliability, idempotency, observability, and production debugging.
- Ability to balance regional requirements with clean platform-level architecture.
Nice to have
- Experience with payment gateways, crypto infrastructure, merchant platforms, or B2B SaaS.
- Familiarity with Postgres, serverless functions, Supabase, queues, or webhook systems.
- Experience supporting multi-region product operations.
First 90 days
- Improve one regional backend workflow for payment status, onboarding, or support operations.
- Document a cleaner API contract for a merchant-facing Asia product path.
- Reduce one recurring escalation by improving backend visibility or validation.
