Project Manager / Scrum Master
Keep MakePay delivery organized from roadmap to release.
This role manages delivery planning, sprint operations, roadmap hygiene, stakeholder updates, and launch coordination for MakePay teams. You will make work visible, risks explicit, and releases easier to coordinate across product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
Why this role matters

- Create a practical planning rhythm that supports fast execution without burying teams in process.
What you will own
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog hygiene, delivery tracking, launch checklists, retrospectives, and stakeholder updates.
- Maintain project plans, dependency maps, risk logs, meeting notes, and action owners for priority initiatives.
- Partner with product, engineering, design, support, operations, and leadership to keep execution aligned.
What you bring
- Project management, scrum master, delivery management, or program coordination experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, crypto, or product teams.
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working with Jira, Linear, Notion, spreadsheets, docs, or similar planning and reporting tools.
Nice to have
- Experience coordinating payment products, merchant integrations, checkout flows, compliance tasks, or infrastructure releases.
- Scrum, agile, PMP, or delivery certification backed by practical startup judgment.
- Ability to improve team habits while respecting engineers' focus and product urgency.
First 90 days
- Map current delivery rituals, active initiatives, blockers, and reporting gaps.
- Create a lightweight delivery rhythm for priority product and operations work.
- Improve release readiness for one launch by clarifying owners, dependencies, risks, and go-live criteria.
