Partnerships / BD Manager

Build the partnerships that expand MakePay's payment reach.

This role develops partnership and business development opportunities across payment ecosystems, platforms, agencies, fintechs, wallets, and regional channels. You will identify relationships that can unlock merchant access, integrations, co-marketing, or strategic distribution.

What you will own

  • Source, qualify, structure, and progress partnership and BD opportunities across Dubai, Singapore, and priority markets.
  • Build partner briefs, business cases, outreach plans, co-marketing ideas, and integration opportunity maps.
  • Coordinate with sales, product, marketing, compliance, support, and leadership to evaluate and execute partnerships.

What you bring

  • Partnerships, business development, ecosystem, strategic alliances, or channel experience in fintech, SaaS, payments, crypto, or ecommerce.
  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to separate high-value partnerships from distracting activity.
  • Clear communication and follow-through across external partners and internal stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with payment gateways, wallets, stablecoins, platforms, agencies, merchant ecosystems, or regional fintech partnerships.
  • Network across Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, EU, crypto, ecommerce, or payment infrastructure communities.
  • Comfort evaluating integration effort, revenue potential, compliance needs, and co-marketing fit.

First 90 days

  • Map priority partnership categories, target partners, warm introductions, and qualification criteria.
  • Advance the first partnership conversations with clear value hypotheses and next steps.
  • Create a partner pipeline review process that keeps commercial, technical, and compliance work aligned.
