Operations Manager
Keep MakePay's operating work organized, visible, and moving.
This role manages the practical operations that help MakePay execute across teams, vendors, onboarding, reporting, and internal processes. You will turn loose operational needs into clean workflows that make the company easier to run.
Why this role matters

- Reduce repeated manual work by documenting workflows, owners, timelines, and decision points.
- Help product, commercial, support, finance, and leadership teams get clearer operational visibility.
What you will own
- Manage operating processes, internal trackers, vendor coordination, team reporting, meeting follow-ups, and launch logistics.
- Document workflows for onboarding, approvals, internal requests, recurring reporting, and cross-functional handoffs.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical fixes that improve speed, accuracy, or accountability.
What you bring
- Operations, business operations, project coordination, or startup execution experience in fintech, SaaS, payments, crypto, or technology.
- Strong organizational habits with the ability to create clarity from ambiguous work.
- Comfort using spreadsheets, documents, project tools, dashboards, and structured communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with payment operations, merchant onboarding, vendor management, compliance coordination, or finance support.
- Background working in Dubai, UAE, GCC, or international startup environments.
- Ability to improve lightweight processes without turning every workflow into heavy bureaucracy.
First 90 days
- Map current recurring operations and identify the highest-friction workflows.
- Create clean trackers or operating documents for the first priority processes.
- Help leadership and teams establish a practical follow-up rhythm for open operational work.
How we work
Clear ownership, close product feedback, and direct merchant impact.
You will work with leadership, finance, product, sales, support, compliance, and people teams to keep operational work from drifting.
