Hong Kong Sales Representative
Develop MakePay's Hong Kong merchant pipeline.
This role builds merchant and partner opportunities for MakePay in Hong Kong and nearby regional markets. You will identify prospects, run discovery, coordinate demos, and help local buyers understand how crypto payments can fit into their business.
Why this role matters
- Create qualified Hong Kong pipeline across merchants, ecommerce businesses, fintechs, agencies, and crypto-native companies.
- Improve regional sales learning around buyer needs, language preferences, competitive pressure, and launch blockers.
- Support MakePay's Asia expansion with disciplined prospecting and clean opportunity handoffs.
What you will own
- Prospect target accounts, qualify opportunities, schedule demos, handle follow-up, and maintain CRM hygiene.
- Explain MakePay's payment links, checkout, integrations, settlement options, and merchant benefits clearly.
- Coordinate with Asia customer success, support, product, and sales leadership on local customer needs.
What you bring
- B2B sales, account development, or business development experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce, or crypto.
- Strong relationship-building and follow-up discipline across merchant, partner, and operator audiences.
- Ability to communicate payment concepts clearly and capture useful buyer feedback.
Nice to have
- Experience selling in Hong Kong, Singapore, Greater China, or regional fintech and ecommerce markets.
- Cantonese, Mandarin, or another regional business language in addition to English.
- Familiarity with crypto wallets, payment gateways, stablecoins, checkout products, or merchant operations.
First 90 days
- Build a Hong Kong target account list and outreach cadence for priority merchant segments.
- Run discovery calls that identify high-potential payment use cases and common objections.
- Create clear handoffs for demos, technical questions, and customer success onboarding.
