Head of Marketing
Build the marketing engine that makes MakePay visible to serious merchants.
This role owns MakePay's marketing strategy across positioning, demand generation, content, campaigns, community, and regional acquisition. You will create the operating rhythm that turns product strength into qualified merchant interest and measurable pipeline.
Why this role matters
- Define MakePay's market positioning for merchants, partners, developers, and crypto-native businesses.
- Create a repeatable acquisition engine across SEO, paid channels, content, partnerships, community, and launches.
- Give sales and leadership clearer pipeline visibility from marketing programs and regional campaigns.
What you will own
- Own marketing strategy, channel mix, campaign planning, budget allocation, reporting, and team priorities.
- Lead positioning, messaging, merchant personas, launch narratives, and conversion-focused website improvements.
- Partner with sales, product, design, community, and operations to turn market learning into sharper go-to-market execution.
What you bring
- Marketing leadership experience in fintech, SaaS, payments, crypto, ecommerce, or another B2B technology category.
- Proven ability to build demand generation programs that connect brand, content, performance, and pipeline.
- Strong analytical judgment with the communication range to work with founders, sales teams, agencies, and operators.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing payment gateways, merchant services, crypto checkout, stablecoins, or Web3 infrastructure.
- Background building marketing functions in Dubai, the GCC, or other international growth markets.
- Comfort hiring and managing specialists across performance marketing, content, community, brand, and analytics.
First 90 days
- Assess current positioning, funnel data, content assets, paid performance, SEO footprint, and campaign operations.
- Publish a marketing plan with channel priorities, pipeline targets, budget recommendations, and reporting cadence.
- Launch the first focused merchant acquisition campaign and define how performance will be measured.
