Finance Manager
Own the finance rhythms behind MakePay's growth.
This role manages finance operations, reporting, reconciliation, payroll coordination, budgeting support, and commercial analysis for MakePay. You will make financial information reliable enough for leaders to make faster and better decisions.
Why this role matters
- Improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, cash visibility, reconciliation, and operating analysis.
- Create cleaner finance processes for payroll, vendors, expenses, revenue tracking, and payment-related operations.
- Support leadership with practical commercial analysis around pricing, growth plans, hiring, and regional costs.
What you will own
- Manage month-end routines, management reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll coordination, and finance controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.
- Coordinate with operations, sales, product, support, external accountants, banks, and vendors on finance workflows.
What you bring
- Finance, accounting, FP&A, or finance operations experience in fintech, SaaS, payments, crypto, ecommerce, or technology.
- Strong spreadsheet, reporting, reconciliation, and financial control skills.
- Clear communication style with the ability to explain finance topics to non-finance stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with payment reconciliation, merchant settlement, multi-currency operations, crypto finance, or tax-free UAE structures.
- Professional accounting qualification, finance certification, or experience managing external accounting partners.
- Familiarity with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Stripe-style reporting, payroll systems, or BI dashboards.
First 90 days
- Review existing finance processes, reporting cadence, accounts, vendors, payroll workflows, and reconciliation needs.
- Create a reliable monthly finance pack with cash, spend, revenue, hiring, and variance visibility.
- Improve one high-risk or time-consuming finance process with clearer ownership and controls.
