EU Sales Manager

Build MakePay's European merchant and partner sales motion.

This role owns European sales development, partner relationships, regional demos, and closing activity for MakePay. You will build a practical EU pipeline while helping the company understand local buyer expectations, compliance questions, and payment use cases.

  • Create a regional sales motion that accounts for EU languages, compliance sensitivities, and market differences.
  • Improve MakePay's closing readiness with clearer objections, buyer maps, and partner opportunities.

What you will own

  • Source, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close European merchant and partner opportunities.
  • Build regional account plans, pipeline reports, forecast updates, and structured feedback for leadership.
  • Coordinate with marketing, support, compliance, product, and technical teams to remove buyer friction.

What you bring

  • B2B sales or sales management experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce, crypto, or financial infrastructure.
  • Track record managing complex sales cycles, partner conversations, and commercially meaningful pipeline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across international stakeholders and distributed teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling payment gateways, merchant services, checkout products, wallets, or stablecoin payment tools.
  • Fluency in one or more European business languages beyond English.
  • Knowledge of EU fintech, ecommerce, digital goods, marketplaces, or regulated merchant segments.

First 90 days

  • Map priority EU markets, account segments, partner channels, and near-term sales opportunities.
  • Create a regional pipeline plan with prospecting, demo, partner, and forecast routines.
  • Document the top EU buyer objections and coordinate the first sales enablement improvements.
