Customer Success Manager (Asia)
Lead merchant success for MakePay across Hong Kong and Singapore.
This role owns customer success for Asia merchants adopting MakePay across Hong Kong, Singapore, and nearby markets. You will guide onboarding, adoption, and account health while helping the company understand regional merchant expectations.
Why this role matters
- Improve launch readiness and active usage for Asia merchants adopting crypto payment acceptance.
- Create a regional customer feedback loop for product, support, sales, and compliance.
- Build trust with merchants who expect clear local communication and responsive follow-through.
What you will own
- Manage onboarding plans, account health reviews, adoption follow-ups, and regional customer communications.
- Track launch blockers, support themes, volume patterns, and product requests across Asia accounts.
- Coordinate cross-time-zone handoffs between merchants, sales, support, product, and technical teams.
What you bring
- Customer success, account management, implementation, or client-facing operations experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, or ecommerce.
- Strong communication skills for regional merchants, commercial contacts, and internal product stakeholders.
- Comfort balancing customer urgency with structured prioritization and clear written follow-through.
Nice to have
- Experience with crypto payments, payment gateways, wallets, settlement flows, or merchant checkout.
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or another Asia business language in addition to English.
- Knowledge of Hong Kong or Singapore fintech, ecommerce, or regulated merchant environments.
First 90 days
- Map priority Asia accounts by launch stage, market, support needs, account health, and growth potential.
- Create a regional onboarding checklist that captures language, timezone, compliance, and integration needs.
- Run the first success review cadence and share Asia-specific product feedback with MakePay leadership.
